Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Before the registration process, candidates are advised to check whether they are satisfying the below-mentioned eligibility criteria or not. 

  • Candidates must have qualified for NEET 2023. 
  • The candidate must be a citizen of India. 
    • The candidate must have a valid domicile certificate to prove that he/ she is from the state of Maharashtra. 
    • Candidates who have passed Class 10 or equivalent from an institute located in the state of Maharashtra are eligible for counselling. 
    • Candidates who have qualified 10th class outside of the state of Maharashtra but passed their 12th class in the state of Maharashtra should produce a domicile certificate. 
  • Candidates should pass the 10+2 level.

Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023: Registration Process

Through the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra, applicants can register themselves to complete Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023 process.

Fill Registration Form

  • Go to the official website of the state CET cell of Maharashtra at cetcell.net.in
  • Click on the button “New Registration”
  • Read all the important instructions and start filling the online application form. 
  • After filling the Online Registration form a candidate has to press submit button then only his/her form will be provisionally accepted in the process.
  • Once submitted, the registration form cannot be edited.

Payment of Fee

  • A candidate will be considered registered for the admission process only after successful payment of the fee.
  • the form will be treated as valid only after bank payment is received.
  • Payment once made, shall not be refunded.

Upload Scanned Documents

The procedure for uploading scanned documents is mentioned below: 

  • The candidates are required to upload the documents as per the guidelines and will also be required to produce all the uploaded documents in original during the time of document verification process. 
  • Candidates must upload coloured scanned copies of Original Documents.
  • Photocopies of documents should not be uploaded.
  • The size of the Document must be less than 300 KB.
  • The document must be uploaded in PDF format only.
  • The uploaded documents will be e-verified and errors if any shall be notified to the candidate in his/her login and through SMS.
  • Take Printout of Registration Form.

Maharashtra NEET Counselling Application Fees

During the registration process, candidates must pay the application fee for Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023 process. In a table, application fees under all the quotas are given.

Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023: Seat Allotment

After completing the online registration procedure for Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023, the concerned authority releases a provisional merit list. It contains the name of the candidate who has successfully completed the registration process along with the verification process. 

State Merit List

  • The provisional merit list is released containing the names of the candidates who have successfully registered for the counselling process. 
  • Based on the provisional merit list, candidates can complete the choice-filling process. 

Choice Filling

  • In this process, candidates need to enter both their courses and college preferences. It must be entered by login to their official account on the website.
  • Candidates must note that they are not allowed to change their preferences later on.

Seat Allotment

  • After the completion of this process, a list of seat allotments are officially released by the conducting authority.
  • Based on the choices of the candidate and the rank from the state merit list, the seat is allotted for the verification process.
  • In the last round, candidates must report to their concerned institute on or before the last date set by the concerned authority.

 

Document Verification

  • With all the required documents in original and photocopy, candidates need to report to the allotted institute to complete the verification round.
  • To complete the last round, candidates must be presented physically at the venue and at the right time of Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023.

  • Click on “Apply Online for NEET-UG 2023”
  • Click on the application form link.
  • Read the instructions carefully before proceeding to fill out the application.
  • Fill in all the entries in the application form.
  • Read the conditions under the “Declaration by the Candidate” before agreeing.
  • Set a password for the account
  • Check the entries filled in the application before applying.

MHT CET NEET-UG 2023 Counselling Choice Filling

Candidates eligible for MBBS/BDS Courses can only fill out the Preference Form.

Online Preference / Choice Filling:

  • Online Preference / Choice Filling will be only ONE TIME, and these preferences will be used for CAP 1st round & all subsequent round(s), including Mop-Up round(s) and upgradation of college (if any).
  • No request for a change of preferences will be entertained once the selection is Locked.

Filling of Status Retention Form Submission:

  • If a candidate who has been allotted a seat WISHES to participate in the next/subsequent round(s) – they SHOULD NOT FILL STATUS RETENTION FORM.
  • If a candidate who has been allotted a seat DOES NOT WISH to participate in the next/subsequent round(s) – they SHOULD FILL in a STATUS RETENTION FORM.
  • The filling of the Status Retention Form is the choice of the candidate. Institutes/Colleges SHOULD NOT FORCE candidates to fill Status Retention Form.

Documents Required for Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023

  • Parent domicile certificate stating that he/ she is from the hilly area
  • The candidate should have passed class 10 or 12 from a school situated in the hilly area of his parent’s domicile or the taluka of his parent’s domicile
Candidates under D-1 Category
  • Certificate of parents from Zillah Sainik Board
  • Maharashtra State Domicile Certificate of Parents
Candidates under D-2 Category
  • Certificate from a competent defence service authority stating that the parent is serving in Army/ Navy/ Air Force
  • Domicile of Maharashtra certificate of defence person.
Candidates under D-3 Category
  • Certificate from a competent defence service authority stating that the parent is serving in Army/ Navy/ Air Force and transferred and posted in Maharashtra
