The Madhya Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 is a multi-stage process that determines admissions to MBBS and BDS programs in the state. Here's a breakdown of the key steps involved:
1. Candidate Registration and Profile Creation (Website):
Visit the official DME website: dme.mponline.gov.in
Look for the dedicated section for "Under Graduate Counselling" (or similar wording) for MBBS/BDS 2024-25.
Click the link for registration and proceed to create a profile.
Enter your NEET UG 2024 roll number, password, and other required personal details.
Ensure you provide accurate contact information for receiving updates.
2. Choice Filling and Locking Preferences (Website):
After registration, access the "Choice Filling" section on the candidate dashboard.
Review the list of participating colleges and choose your preferred colleges for MBBS/BDS programs.
Arrange your college selections in order of preference, with your most desired option at the top.
Carefully review your choices before finalizing them.
Lock your choices to confirm your preferences. This step cannot be undone later.
3. Seat Allotment Rounds (Website):
The counselling process involves multiple rounds of seat allotment.
The DME will announce the schedule for each round.
In each round, the system considers your NEET score, preferences, and available seats to allocate a seat (if applicable).
Check the website after each round to see if you've been allotted a seat.
4. Reporting to Allotted Institute (Website/College):
If you receive a seat allotment, you must report to the allotted college within the stipulated timeframe.
Follow the reporting instructions provided by the DME and the specific college.
This typically involves submitting documents, completing admission formalities, and paying fees.
5. Upgradation and Fresh Choices (Optional, Website):
If you are not satisfied with your initial seat allotment, you can participate in subsequent rounds.
This might involve expressing willingness for upgradation or submitting fresh choices for available seats.
6. MOP-UP Round (Optional, Website):
A MOP-UP round might be conducted to fill any remaining vacant seats.
This is another opportunity to express interest in upgradation and submit fresh choices.
7. Filling of Stray Vacancies (Optional, College Level):
Some colleges might have a limited number of stray vacancies after the counselling rounds.
These vacancies are filled directly by the colleges, so you might need to contact them to explore this option.
8. Document Verification and Admission (College):
Once you are allotted a seat and report to the college, ensure you carry all the required documents for verification, such as:
Below are the list of documents required during reporting to the colleges for physical verification:
Allotment Letter issued by DME
Admit Cards of Exam issued by NTA.

MP NEET Counselling Seat Matrix (MBBS/BDS)
Madhya Pradesh NEET Counselling Seat Matrix is the distribution of available MBBS and BDS seats across government and private medical and dental colleges in the state. This seat matrix is important for candidates participating in the counselling process, as it helps them identify the number of seats allocated for various categories, such as General, SC, ST, OBC, and EWS, among others. The seat matrix also indicates the seats reserved under different quotas, including state quota, management quota, and NRI quota.
Madhya Pradesh NEET Counselling Bond Policy mandates that students admitted to undergraduate (MBBS/BDS) courses in government medical/dental colleges, institutes, and universities must commit to a compulsory government service bond. This requirement is outlined under the Medical Education with subsequent amendments.
