Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2023: Dates (Soon), Registration, Eligibility, Fees, Cutoff, Documents etc.
Karnataka NEET Counselling 2023 will be organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for candidates who qualify NEET 2023 and wish to secure a seat in a medical college in the state. Karnataka UGNEET 2023 Counselling process will be conducted for MBBS/ BDS admission to 85% state quota seats and 100% seats in private colleges of the state.
Only those candidates who have scored the minimum required NEET qualifying marks and have registered for the Counselling will be eligible to participate in the seat allotment process.
The allocation of seats will be based purely on merit. In addition to the Counselling conducted by KEA, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will also conduct Counselling for 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, which can be accessed at mcc.nic.in.

In order to be eligible for Karnataka NEET Counselling 2023, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Successfully qualify NEET-UG 2023 exam.
Candidates must have passed the 2nd PUC (Pre-University Course) or class 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
For candidates belonging to certain reserved categories (SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B), the minimum requirement is 40% aggregate marks in these subjects.
Be an Indian citizen/OCI/NRI with valid certificates.
Non-Karnataka residents are not eligible for NEET MBBS Counselling under the reservation criteria in Karnataka.
Candidates must also provide valid documents during the verification process to validate the information provided. It is important for candidates to carefully review and meet the eligibility requirements for the Karnataka NEET Counselling 2023 in order to participate in the seat allotment process.
Karnataka NEET Counselling 2023: Application Process
The application process for Karnataka NEET Counselling 2023 is detailed below.
Step 1 - Registration and Login
Look for the link to the form, which will be available on the official website.
Click on the option that says, "Click here to register."
Carefully read the instructions that appear on the screen.
Click on the "Apply online" button.
Enter your personal information, including your name, your parent's name, your date of birth, your phone number, and your email address. Create a unique password and submit the form.
After successful registration, you will receive an application ID and password via email and phone.
Use the application ID, password, and security pin to log in to the application portal.
Follow the prompts to complete the Karnataka MBBS/BDS application form for 2023.
Step 2 - Fill Form
Enter your personal and contact information, including your permanent and correspondence addresses.
Specify your category and any reservations that apply to you.
Input your academic information, including details about your class 10 and 12 subjects, marks, exam board, and year of passing.
Step 3 - Upload Documents
Upload a recent, colored passport-sized photograph in JPG/JPEG format.
Scan and upload a copy of your signature, following the specified format.
Scan and upload an image of your left hand thumbprint.
Submit the form once all required documents have been uploaded.
Step 4 - Fees Payment
Pay the fee according to your category.
The fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or e-challan.
Submit the fee payment to complete the process.

Karnataka NEET Counselling 2023 Process
Registration
To register for the Karnataka NEET 2023 Counselling process, follow these steps:
Go to the official website of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and select the option for UGNEET-2023 online registration.
Provide your personal and contact information, including your name, address, category, PwD status, educational background, and date of birth. You will receive an application ID and password via SMS.
Upload images of your passport-sized photograph, signature, and left-hand thumbprint.
Pay the Counselling fee using a credit card, debit card, or net banking (online) or by downloading and completing a bank challan (offline).
Save and print a copy of the application form for your records.
Document Verification
During the Karnataka NEET 2023 Counselling process, candidates will be required to undergo document verification at a designated center. The order of verification will be based on ranks, so it is important to confirm your rank range, date, and time before going to the center.
At the verification center, you will need to bring both original and self-attested copies of the following documents:
Copy of the Karnataka NEET Counselling application form (final version)
Proof of payment for the Counselling fee
NEET 2023 admit card and scorecard
Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
Study certificate
Valid photo ID
Two recent passport-sized photographs
Caste/income certificate (if applicable)
Rural study certificate (if claiming rural quota)
Kannada medium study certificate (if claiming Kannada medium quota)
Hyderabad-Karnataka region reservation certificate (if applicable)
Parent's study certificate, hometown certificate, domicile certificate, employment certificate, cumulative record, or marks card (if applicable)
During the verification process, officials will check the original documents and retain the self-attested copies. If the verification is successful, you will receive an acknowledgment slip.
Choice filling and Locking
During the Karnataka NEET 2023 Counselling process, you will be given a secret key along with an acknowledgment slip. This key is necessary to make choices on the "Option-entry portal." It is important to keep the key confidential at all times.
There is no limit to the number of options you can enter during the Counselling process. The options you enter on the last day of the designated period will be considered for seat allotment and will be "frozen." Note that this is a one-time opportunity, and you will not be able to enter options for the second round. However, you can make changes to your higher-ranked options if you choose.
Seat Allotment
Following document verification, eligible and qualified candidates will be allowed to participate in the seat allotment procedure. For those who meet the respective eligibility criteria, KEA NEET MBBS Counselling will offer the following types of seats.
G-Government Seats.
P-Private Seating.
N-NRI Seats.
Q-Other Seats.
Seat Allocation
Option 1: If a candidate is satisfied with his or her assigned seat, there is no need for him or her to participate in subsequent rounds of Counselling.
Option 2: If a candidate is satisfied with his or her assigned seat but wishes to participate in subsequent rounds of Counselling, he or she must give up the assigned seat.
Option 3: If a candidate is unhappy with his or her assigned seat and wishes to participate in the next round of seat allocation.
Option 4: If a candidate is dissatisfied with his or her assigned seat and does not want to participate in the next round of seat allotment, they can decline the seats or further rounds of Counselling.
Fee Payment
Candidates who accept a seat in round 1 must pay the tuition fee via E -challan/NEFT/RTGS/IMPS challan/debit card/net banking.
