D Y Patil Group has been into education since long and one of their latest additions is the Ajeenkya D Y Patil University (ADYPU) which was established in the year 2015. The university is little far from the main city of the Pune and has some of the most classical buildings. The campus of the university is known by the name D Y Patil Knowledge City that doesn’t just have colleges but an international school too. The university president is none other than Dr. Ajeenkya Patil who needs no introduction when it comes to education institutes in India. The university offers n number of courses in departments such as Liberal Arts, Management, Engineering, Social Sciences, and Humanities. Ajeenkya D Y Patil University admissions aren’t that complex as each school of the university has their certain criteria. The criteria of admissions to Ajeenkya D Y Patil University courses are mentioned below:
School of Engineering – HSC pass in science stream with Physics and Maths as subjects and minimum 50% marks. Besides that, ACET for engineering score along with a personal interview is how the university intakes students for their B. Tech Courses. For the reserved category students, a minimum 45% in HSC. For M. Tech graduate degree in B. Tech/B.E. degree with a minimum of 50% for general category students and 45% for reserved category students. Along with that ACET score and a mandatory personal interview.
School of Design – HSC in any stream and ACET for Design School, followed by a studio test and a personal interview.
School of Management – School of Management offers BBA and MBA courses. For BBA course, the eligibility is 10+2, ACET for BBA, and finally a personal interview. Admissions are strictly merit-based. Candidates need to appear for the common entrance test for a centralized admission procedure. ACET (ADYPU Common Entrance Test) is conducted for every course offered by the college.

- The application process has been divided into two steps:
- Candidates have to register themselves only and appear for ACET.
- After your application gets shortlisted based on your ACET results, you will be invited to the campus for a counselling session and a personal interview (PI) round.
