MS in Orthopedics is a Three Years Post Graduate Degree Course. It is a branch of surgery which deals in traumatic, chronic and overuses injuries and many other disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedic Surgeons mostly directs musculoskeletal ailments including arthritis, trauma and congenital disorders using both surgical and non-surgical modes. The course has been designed and modified to impart to eligible candidates advanced learning in the systematic assessment and management of surgical patients in the elective, urgent, and emergency clinical settings. They apply medical, physical, and rehabilitative methods, besides surgery, for treating patients, using a variety of surgical techniques such as lasers to remove torn cartilage, and arthroscopic surgery for treating damaged joints. The minimum eligibility criteria is that aspirant must hold MBBS Degree with minimum 55 percent marks from a recognized university. Minimum 50% marks in M.B.B.S.

Documents showing that the sponsorer is an NRI ( Passport, Visa of the sponsorer) Candidates affidavit showing the relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme court of India in the case (W.P.(C) No. 689/2017 – Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs. Union of India & Ors) dated 22-08-2017. Affidavit from the sponsorer that he / she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate. Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate issued within last 06 months). Family tree notarized by tahsildar Income Tax Documents required as per the Income Tax Act 1961.
