If the seats are left vacant after the release of cutoff and conduction of counselling rounds, DCI lowers the cutoff of NEET MDS 2024 to attract more candidates for admission.
MCC is the responsible authority to conduct the NEET MDS counselling 2024 for granting admission to 50% All India quota seats, ESIC and AFMC seats, and deemed/central university seats. Aspirants belonging from Jammu and Kashmir are not allowed to participate in the central pool quote, thus, the state bodies are responsible for providing admission as needed. In total, 3 round of NEET MDS 2024 counselling is held where an additional stray vacancy round might be conducted to fill in remaining seats. A mop-up round dedicated for central, deemed, and ESIC colleges is held separately. Students should secure more than the minimum qualifying percentile and clear the results to appear for counselling of NEET MDS entrance exam.
