Punjab NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria

• The admission to MBBS/BDS Courses shall be open to candidates who have qualified NEET-UG- 2023 and are eligible as per Punjab Govt. notifications and subsequent amendment(s)/ corrigendum(s) and as well as Punjab Govt. Personnel Department letter dated 06.06.1996.
• Merely applying for admission to MBBS/BDS courses based on NEET-UG-2023 will not entitle the Candidates to eligibility. The Admission Committee will determine a candidate’s merit for admission strictly per rules and regulations laid down by the Punjab Govt. Notification(s) as published in this prospectus and other documents are required with the ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM.
• The Admission Committee shall conduct counselling/Admissions constituted by the Punjab Government for this purpose.
• Age: As specified in NEET-UG 2023.

Punjab MBBS Counselling Fees

• The admission Application Fee of Rs. 5900 (Rs.2950 for SC candidates), including GST @18%, will be deposited only through the online payment gateway.
• The admission Application Fee will not be accepted in any form after the due date/time.
• Only those Admission Application Forms will be considered for counselling, the fee for which has been deposited by the due date/time.
• No request for accepting the Admission Application Forms after the due date/time will be entertained.
• Mere deposition of the fee will not entitle the candidate to claim admission.
• Fee once deposited in University Account will not be refunded/adjusted in any case.

Candidates can visit the official portal of the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, to get themselves registered for NEET 2023 Punjab State Counselling. Step 1: Login (Register): To participate in Punjab NEET counselling, candidates must log in through the official website. To log in, candidates must enter the registration number, password, and security code.

Step 2: Choice Filling: After successfully logging in, click “Fill Choices.” Applicants must select a course, college name, reservation quota, and reservation category to fill in the choices.

Step 3: Payment Process: Punjab NEET counselling fee can be paid online. The registration fee for counselling of Punjab NEET 2023 is refundable.

Punjab NEET 2023 Counselling Reporting

Candidates who will be allotted seats in the Punjab MBBS 2023 seat allotment, will have to report to the respective institution as per the schedule. Before reporting, shortlisted candidates must download the Punjab NEET seat allotment letter from the official website. Selected candidates will have to pay the tuition fee and get their Punjab NEET 2023 admission reserved. The fee can be paid either online or through a bank draft. During reporting, candidates will have to carry their original documents along with the seat allotment letter and fee payment receipt/demand draft for Punjab MBBS admission.

Highlights of Punjab NEET Counselling 2023

• Two rounds of Punjab MBBS counselling will be conducted followed by a mop-up round

• The process of Punjab MBBS 2023 counselling will be the same for all rounds. Candidates will be required to submit fresh choices of courses and colleges for each round of Punjab NEET counselling 2023

• Candidates who join the seat allotted during the first round of Punjab MBBS/BDS counselling but willing to upgrade can participate in the second round

• Such candidates will have to submit their willingness for upgradation in round two of Punjab MBBS counselling 2023. In case the seat is not upgraded the previous seat will be retained

• Fresh registrations and candidates not allotted any seat in the first round of Punjab NEET 2023 counselling can also participate in the second round
